Grand re-opening of Bradford IMAX cinema at the National Media Museum

18-09-2015

On Monday 15th September, Angela and Jane were invited to the grand re-opening of the Bradford IMAX cinema at the National Media Museum which has been closed for the past two months following a £780,000 upgrade.

The IMAX cinema features a new screen and digital projection system and improved seats with more leg room. Guests at the event were treated to a performance from a local choir and a screening of Everest which was deemed even more magnificent for being shown on the IMAX screen.

Bradford’s IMAX was the first in Europe when it opened in 1983 and is still the biggest screen in Yorkshire. They offer regular free student previews (with E4 Slackers Club) and free memberships for new students until December – great news for all of our students!
